These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sempath GLP-1 mobile application ("Sempath", "the app"), operated by Irshaad Mohideen, trading as Waypath Studios ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Not medical advice
Any information in the app — including estimates, charts, calculations, reminders, community figures, and AI-generated results — is for general informational and organizational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider before making any decision about your medication, dose, diet, exercise, or health. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the app. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. You are solely responsible for your health decisions and for how you use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Sempath. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older and are using it to manage your own health information.
3. Your account and data
You may use Sempath without an account (local-only), or create an account to enable optional cloud sync and backup. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and any app PIN secure, and for the accuracy of the information you enter. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Sempath only for your own lawful, personal health tracking. You agree not to:
- Use the app in any unlawful way or for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or disrupt the app or its backend services;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to our systems;
- Submit content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes the rights of others; or
- Misuse the AI features, community feature, or feedback channel.
5. AI features
Sempath offers optional AI features (such as meal analysis and blood-work scanning) that process content you submit to return an estimate or reading. These results are automated estimates, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and must always be reviewed by you and, where relevant, verified against your original records and your healthcare provider. You should not rely on AI-generated results for any medical decision.
6. Community feature
The community feature is optional and contribution-based: if you opt in, you contribute anonymized data to a shared pool in exchange for seeing aggregated results, as described in the Privacy Policy. Community figures are aggregated context only, are not personalized, and are not medical advice.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Sempath offers free features and optional paid "Premium" features through a subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play, subject to Google Play's terms. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Google Play account settings. Prices, promotional offers, and included features may change; where required, we will give notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and refunds for purchases made through Google Play are handled under Google Play's refund policy.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Sempath available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features (or the app itself) at any time. We may also update the app to fix issues, add features, or maintain compatibility.
9. Your content and backups
The health data you enter remains yours. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups where important to you; you can export your data from within the app at any time. We are not liable for any loss of data caused by device failure, uninstallation, loss of access to your account, or discontinuation of the service, though we take reasonable measures to protect data stored on our backend.
10. Intellectual property
The Sempath app, its name, branding, design, and software are owned by Waypath Studios and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own health tracking. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its content except as allowed by law.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sempath is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app, its calculations, or any AI or community output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Termination
You may stop using Sempath at any time and may delete your account and data from within the app. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the app in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where you have mandatory legal rights under the laws of your own country of residence, nothing in these Terms overrides them.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
